DOGGY POSITIF
Du 02 au 07 août 2026
Centre Animalin, Gers (32)
Preparation
to the games
The first days of this stay are dedicated to preparing for the games with around ten tests - created and conceptualized by Catherine Collignon and Nicolas Ducasse - exploring the cognitive abilities of dogs through recall, running, object reporting or even olfactory research. If your dog is not performing well or if you doubt his ability to listen, obey or behave well, it does not matter, because the least performing dogs are often the funniest and most exciting. So there is no problem in not having the right dog at the right time when you arrive at DOGGY GAMES FRANCE.
Preparation
to the games
Musical Chairs
To the tune of music, you will walk your dog around a rectangle. When the music stops, you will position your dog and go sit. The lessons covered are: “Stay”, walking with/without a leash, socialization and excitement management.

Preparation
to the games
The Treasure Hunt
Your dog will have to bring back toys in a given time. Difficulties can be added depending on the level of the dog and at the request of the judge. The skills worked on are : “Fetch”, “Bring”, “Give” and sharing resources.
Preparation
to the games
The Olfactory Quest
Your dog will have to use his sense of smell to find a scent hidden in a box in the middle of a delimited space filled with hiding places of different shapes and colors. The learnings worked on are: "Wait", "Search", "Designate" and autonomy.

Preparation
to the games
The Rush Challenge
Your dog will run from point A to point B over a longer or shorter distance. He will have to sit down next to you as quickly as possible.
The learnings worked on: “Sitting”, recall, familiarization, speed of execution and relationship.

Sharing &
encounter
